Da Nang 2026 High School Robot Creation Contest: A Tech Playground for Students

On the morning of August 14, at the gymnasium of Son Tra High School, the Da Nang Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, the Da Nang Youth Union, and the University of Science and Technology – University of Da Nang, held the opening ceremony and qualifying round of the Da Nang (Extended) High School Robot Creation Contest 2026 under the theme "Global Trade – Connecting Knowledge."

The contest brought together 30 teams from high schools across the city and neighboring provinces, creating a vibrant science and technology playground for secondary school students. With this year's theme, teams must apply their knowledge of robotics, programming, and creative thinking to tackle challenges simulating global trade activities, thereby connecting knowledge and practical skills.

This is an annual event organized by the city to encourage scientific and technical research movements in schools, while also discovering and nurturing young talents in the fields of technology and robotics. The qualifying round took place on August 14, and outstanding teams will advance to the finals, promising impressive and highly creative performances.
