Exploring Da Nang by Cyclo: A Fresh Experience for Tourists

If you want to experience Da Nang in a slower, more intimate way, the cyclo tour organized by the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center is a delightful choice. Sitting on a cyclo, friendly drivers will take you along riverside streets, weaving through the daily rhythm of local life – an experience quite different from sightseeing by car or motorbike.

There are currently three routes to choose from. The first tour lasts about 45 minutes, taking you from the Cham Sculpture Museum, through APEC Park, along Bach Dang, Quang Trung, and Tran Phu streets, with a stop at the Rooster Church (viewed from the outside only, applicable for departures from 8:00–10:30 AM and 1:30–3:30 PM on weekdays), then returning to the starting point. The tour price is 230,000 VND per person, with children under 6 years old riding with an adult for free, and travel insurance is included.

The second tour lasts about 80 minutes, combining sightseeing with a traditional Vietnamese coffee brewing experience at Trinh Café – a well-known spot in Da Nang. After cruising around the city by cyclo, you'll be guided on how to brew coffee with a phin filter, and have the chance to take photos full of Vietnamese charm in the café's distinctly local ambiance. This is an ideal choice for those wanting to explore culinary culture and snap some Instagram-worthy shots.

The cyclo tour is not just a mode of transport but also an opportunity to hear stories about the city from the cyclo drivers themselves – people deeply connected to every corner of the streets. If you're planning to explore Da Nang, try riding a cyclo once to feel the serene pace of life in this coastal city.
