Da Nang signs innovation and financial center development cooperation with Switzerland

As part of a working program in Zurich, Switzerland, on the afternoon of June 4 (local time), a Da Nang City delegation led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Asia (SwissCham Asia) and Singularity AG Academy.

This agreement marks a significant step in promoting the innovation ecosystem and financial center development in Da Nang. Under the MoU, the parties will cooperate in several strategic areas, including sharing experience in building a regional financial center, developing high-quality human resources linked to technology, and facilitating business connections between Da Nang and Swiss partners.

Partnering with SwissCham Asia—an organization with a vast network—and Singularity AG Academy, renowned for its training in disruptive technology, will open opportunities for Da Nang to access sustainable development models, artificial intelligence applications, and digital finance. This move concretizes the city’s vision to become a startup and innovation hub for the central region and the entire country.

The event is especially significant as Da Nang is actively implementing Resolution 57 of the Politburo on scientific, technological, and innovative development. Through this cooperation with Swiss partners, the city hopes to attract more international resources and expertise, contributing to sustainable socio-economic growth in the coming time.
