Da Nang Launches "All People Protect the Environment" Movement Aiming for a Green – Clean – Beautiful City

On the morning of June 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City held a ceremony to launch the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment for a green – clean – beautiful Da Nang City" for the period 2026-2030. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung, along with Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung.

The movement lasts until 2030, aiming to call on all levels of people to join hands in maintaining environmental hygiene, building a modern city rich in identity and friendly to tourists. For the tourism industry, a clean and beautiful environment is always an important factor to attract domestic and international visitors to Da Nang.

The authorities hope that through this movement, people's awareness of environmental protection will be raised, contributing to reducing plastic waste, improving urban and beach landscapes – the precious assets of the coastal city. This is also an opportunity for each citizen and each tourism service establishment to promote their role as "green citizens", taking practical actions together to protect the living environment and sustainable tourism.
