As part of the ASEAN City Leaders’ Conference held on June 8, the representative of Da Nang – Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee – officially affirmed a new strategic vision: Da Nang is not only a friendly and hospitable tourist destination but also aims to pioneer becoming an ‘AI City’ in the region.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Quang Buu emphasized that Da Nang is focusing on building technology infrastructure, attracting investment in artificial intelligence, and fostering innovation and digital transformation. This goal not only helps the city enhance its competitiveness but also brings smart services to residents and visitors. Da Nang hopes to become an AI hub of ASEAN, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.
