Da Nang Steps Up Implementation of SMILE Tourism Culture Criteria

On August 18, the Da Nang City People's Committee issued several notable directives and administrative actions to boost socio-economic development, with special attention given to further promoting the implementation of the Da Nang SMILE Tourism Culture criteria set. This is part of ongoing efforts to build the image of a friendly, professional, and culturally rich destination.

In addition, the city awarded the People's Committee Flag to six collectives with outstanding achievements in development and growth. At the same time, it rolled out Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee, along with other key policies such as operating six boarding schools in border communes starting from the 2026-2027 school year, and approving the project on developing and managing forest carbon credits for the 2026-2030 period.

Furthermore, the city implemented the People's Council Resolution on policies to support damages caused by wild animals to people and property, helping safeguard the welfare of residents in forest-adjacent areas. These actions reflect the local government's comprehensive attention to both tourism development and community life.
