Memorial Site for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Da Nang
Located on Cam Mountain in Hoa Phu Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang, the Memorial Site for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is a cultural landmark covering about 16 hectares. It serves as a place to remember and pay tribute to nearly 140,000 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers across the country—women who devoted their entire lives to the cause of national liberation.
The project was conceived by artist Dinh Gia Thang, featuring architecture that harmoniously blends natural scenery with spiritual values. The centerpiece is the statue of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother, symbolizing the courage and quiet sacrifice of Vietnamese mothers.
For visitors to Da Nang, this is a meaningful historical site that offers deeper insight into the nation's tradition of remembering and honoring its roots. The memorial also hosts tribute activities and educates younger generations about the country's glorious history.
