Amazing cafe muoi for 30k.

Stopped here for a coffee on my road trip from Da Nang to Hue. Scenic location, nice owners and good coffee.

We stopped in visiting the pass. This cafe has loverly views over the bay, we had coffee, tea, noodle and rice. The owners are very loverly and the lady speaks good English 😃 It’s a shame vingroup has cause so much destruction of a beautiful area though.

On commande, elle sert a table... et en payant tu te rends compte que les prix sur la carte, c'est pas ça. The coffee shop is quite chill. The owner and his wife have been running it for 40 years on this pass. It's definitely worth a try when visiting Da Nang. The only downside is probably the resort project of over 500 hectares at the foot of Hai Van Pass built by Vingroup, which has taken away its original beauty.

Cafe Hon Da Cu Rua is truly a must-visit destination on Hai Van Pass. The eatery boasts a million-dollar view of Da Nang sea and majestic mountains, bringing a wonderful sense of relaxation. I was particularly impressed with the open, airy space, ideal for watching the sunrise and cloud hunting. The coffee here is very reasonably priced, only 15k for a rich iced milk coffee, perfect for sipping while enjoying the scenery. The quick and friendly service is also a big plus. However, one small point that could be improved is that when large vehicles pass by, the eatery sometimes gets a bit dusty and hot. If there were some additional shielding or gentle cooling solutions, the experience would be more perfect. To elevate this relaxing space, the eatery could consider using Tuneast. Come for the view!!! Stay........for the view!! 😜 I can't fault anything about this cafe, but I can't say that it'll be one of the best coffee and meal that you'll ever had! The drink and food here are a "nice to have", and because of the reasonable price and the stunning view (despite the horrendous construction site for a resort 😢), this is definitely a must stop as you make your way up to Hải Vân Pass.

Beautiful scenery

The cafe has a very beautiful sea view, reasonable prices, and the owner is enthusiastic and friendly. However, the shop should add a few fans because it gets quite hot inside around noon, sitting and enjoying the view while sweating a bit.

Lately, when I come to the eatery, I feel really bad. I feel like I come here often, so I'm disappointed and no longer want to choose this place to sit. 1. The drink and snack menu has been updated quite a while ago, but this time it seems like the owner changed or something because the food is more expensive. Normally, I order a soft drink for 15k and regular shrimp crackers for 10k, total 25k. Now it's the same order, but I have to pay 30k. 2. Instant noodles used to be 15k with an egg and sausage, which was great. Later it increased to 20k, which was fine. This time I came back, it's just instant noodles with an egg and a little bit of vegetables, but the price is still 20k. It's expensive and not as tasty as before. 3. The space has been expanded to the floor area near the house, which I think is okay, but it seems like it's a family area for the owner's kids to play in the pool. I think the eatery should fence off that area if it's really for family activities. I see many customers find it annoying, including me when I sit nearby and the kids splash water on customers, run around, shout, and scream continuously, which is very headache-inducing. ESPECIALLY, there is a child of the owner who often cries when playing with older kids, but the eatery ignores it and lets the child stand there crying. The place isn't crowded, and after a while, someone finally tells the child to stop crying. It's really bad. I see the eatery has upgraded, but the quality has declined recently. I also don't see the old owners, and I rarely see the two elderly people anymore. If you are the children of the owner, I hope you can improve. Otherwise, when I bring my friends here, they don't want to come back a second time.

The owner is enthusiastic. The 4-legged black and white staff member is also very friendly. The view is excellent.

At Hai Van Pass, it happened to rain, thick fog made the road invisible, convoys of cars lined up one after another.

The view is very chill, sitting drinking coffee and eating a bowl of noodles while admiring the scenery is absolutely amazing, but sometimes it's a bit dirty, lots of trash, the time I went there were even animal carcasses. On the plus side, the prices are okay, many seats with beautiful views, there are some cute four-legged kids, and the service is enthusiastic.

The shop is airy, on weekends going up for coffee to enjoy the scenery and breathe fresh air is the right move.
