Echitora Authentic Japanese Restaurant - Sushi, Sashimi & Tempura

Average experience, the food was just OKAY. The sushi was average. the tuna filling wasn’t fresh enough. The salmon roll was also just okay. The curry wasn’t good, we only tasted it and didn’t finish it, but the staff didn’t seem to notice or care. The wagyu steak was tasty and the only dish I’d really recommend, though it was a bit chewy, still very good steak.

Some of the very best japanese food I have had outside Japan, the waitress was incredibly friendly and food, especially the wagyu was fantastic and unbelievable value.

The food was tasty but the portoins aren't that generous and the service isn't the best. We waited 40 minutes for sashimi and the table next to us waited for over an hour. The servers are nice but the waiting time was way to much for something that takes almost no prep time.

Cannot understand the high ratings for this very disappointing joint. Gyoza: not crispy. Salmon carpaccio inoffensive but unexciting, and no trace of the yuzu dressing it was meant to be served with. Prawn tempura: mid. Soft shell crab: poor. Spicy tuna roll: sent it back. Wife and I went across the street after paying our bill and got a burger. Will not return; cannot recommend.

When it comes to hospitality this restaurant should receive 10 stars. After talking to the owner, I have gotten to know that the stuff is specially trained in how to talk to customers, which is not common in other restaurants in hoi an. The food is absolutely amazing as well. I wish them all the best in the future.

I was genuinely surprised by how good the food was. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you are looking for great Japanese food in Hoi An, Echitora is definitely worth a visit.

We had a great dinner here during our stay in Hoi An. The food was fresh, simply presented, and every dish we ordered was genuinely enjoyable. The butter asparagus was a perfect starter, the tuna and salmon avocado rolls were fresh and well balanced, the Wagyu steak was tender and cooked just right, and the teriyaki salmon was excellent. We also loved the crispy tempura vegetables, which complemented the meal perfectly. The restaurant has a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere, the service was friendly, and the prices felt very fair for the quality of the food. Definitely a place we’d be happy to come back to.

We came here for dinner as a group of five and ordered sashimi, several different rolls, kimchi, and edamame. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the food. However, the service initially forgot our edamame and kimchi. After we asked about them, they were eventually brought to the table, but by then we were almost finished with our meal. When it was time to pay, we also noticed that one dish had been charged twice on the bill. Fortunately, we caught the mistake before paying. While the food was very good, these service issues were disappointing, so we are deducting one star.

We absolutely loved this place! The fish was incredibly fresh and exceeded our expectations. We also tried the edamame, which was fantastic. I usually don’t like octopus, but theirs was surprisingly delicious! Highly recommend! I swear I am usually a picky eater but I loved this.

Beautiful restaurant to spend my birthday! The food was incredible and the staff were very attentive. Loved sitting in tables with sunken flooring - I felt like I was back in Japan!

It was a bit of Japanese in HoiAn. Nice service. Food was good. Only a small restaurant. Maybe there is an upstairs (I am not sure). I would recommend if wanting something other than Vietnamese on your travels.

I had 2 dinners there and both experiences were delicious. The mixed sashimi, gyoyza, tempura shrimp, and kimchi all very good. Personally, I prefer kimchi spicier but this certainly didn’t miss on flavor. Wide selection of sake and most budget friendly. The staff was attentive, always clearing plates as courses finished.

Wir habe super lecker Sushi und Beef Sukiyaki Udon gegessen. Wir waren nicht nur vom Essen und dessen Zubereitung begeistert sondern auch preislich ist es für europäische Verhältnisse ein Traum. Phải nói là đồ ăn rất ngon, nhưng họ bắt chúng tôi chờ khá lâu. Hơn nữa, không gian quán có vẻ thiếu sức sống – không giống một nhà hàng Nhật Bản truyền thống nơi bạn có thể thấy đầu bếp cắt sushi ngay trước mặt.

Суши свежие, но не вкусные. Рис теплый, кашей. Официант принес бокал накрыв пальцами место, где прикасаешься губами, не приятно стало пользоваться бокалом, пришлось пить пепси из банки. Пятки у официанта черные, не приятно смотреть.

Lâu rồi mới ăn được một bữa đồ Nhật khiến mình hài lòng từ đầu đến cuối như vậy. Tuna Sashimi rất tươi, thịt cá ngọt và mềm, ăn vào cảm nhận được độ tươi của nguyên liệu ngay. Gà Karaage thì chuẩn bài với lớp vỏ giòn, bên trong vẫn giữ được độ mọng nước chứ không bị khô như nhiều nơi khác. Món mình thích nhất là Cơm Gà Katsu Don sốt Nhật Homemade. Phần sốt làm rất vừa miệng, đậm đà nhưng không ngấy, ăn cùng miếng gà chiên giòn và cơm nóng thực sự rất cuốn. Suất ăn đầy đặn, chất lượng xứng đáng với giá tiền. Không gian ấm cúng, phục vụ nhanh và thân thiện. Nếu đang tìm một quán Nhật có đồ ăn ngon, nguyên liệu tươi và hương vị chuẩn chỉnh thì đây là một địa chỉ rất đáng thử. Chắc chắn mình sẽ quay lại!

Đồ ăn không ngon , tôi gọi món bò wagu cứ tưởng là sẽ ngon nhưng rất dai chúng tôi cố gắng nuốt, shashimi thì không tươi 🙄 nói chung lại tôi rất thất vọng về nhà hàng này , có rất nhiều nhà hàng rất ngon khác ở Hội An và giá cả hợp lý hơn ! Tôi khuyên mọi người đừng nên đến đây . Steak dai theo con và mình đều cảm thấy .. đó là trãi nghiệm của bản thân nên mình đánh giá theo quan điểm cá nhân . Về nhân viên không một lời chào khách đó là 1 điểm trừ .
