Bánh Canh Cô Bé

One of the best bowls of bánh canh in Đà Nẵng! I happened to know about Bánh Canh Cô Bé through friends' recommendations and was not disappointed at all. The broth is rich, naturally sweet from bones, not cloyingly sweet like some other places. The bánh canh noodles are soft and chewy, very satisfying. I ordered takeout, and the shop packed it very carefully; the broth was still piping hot when it arrived. The bag had everything: bánh canh, broth separately, fried shallots, herbs – very thoughtful. The shop space is small but clean, and the service is enthusiastic. The price is also very reasonable for a filling and quality meal. If you're looking for an authentic Central Vietnamese bánh canh eatery, Bánh Canh Cô Bé is a place you should try at least once!

The thick noodle soup is delicious, the broth is sweet and clear, rich and savory, not cloying or sweet like sugar. The toppings are extremely generous, especially the fish cake and fish... the fish cake is chewy and fragrant... the fish is fresh and well-seasoned. The noodles are moderately soft, not mushy, and taste very good. The fried dough sticks are crispy, not hard or chewy, and go very well with the soup. The spring rolls are also tasty, with balanced seasoning. A full bowl is filling, and I feel very satisfied after eating. Service is fast and clean, especially the male staff member named Nghia, who is both handsome and friendly. I will definitely come back many times!

Although the place is small, it is cozy and clean. On a rainy day, we had a delicious and warming bowl of banh canh, and the price is cheap compared to the quality of service.

I've been eating here for about 4-5 years now. I'm so used to the delicious taste here that I don't find it as good anywhere else. Going around Da Nang, Auntie Be is still my top choice. Auntie Be sells clean and cheap food—nowadays it's hard to find a bowl of banh canh that's piled high for only 20k. Auntie Be's banh canh is always the best!!!
