Ordered the duck Goi for 3. Amazing in every way.

We went here for dinner (short drive from our hotel). A must visit while you're in Da Nang. Honest and friendly owner and staff. Generous serves of local food. We had a plate of duck, goi (salad) and congee - simple, fresh and delicious.

Local restaurant. A quick 5mins drive away from marble mountain! Owner doesnt speak much english but the food was pretty good for a cold day. $80000vnd for 2pax includes 2 bowl of porridge and a plate of duck meat. Simple meal but satisfying!

Delicious duck meat

The eatery is near the company, so I occasionally drop by to eat. Three of us ordered a salad and a small bowl of porridge, and we ate until we couldn't finish. The eatery cooks well, the duck is sweet and quite fatty (I personally don't like super-meaty duck).

This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant like this. I came to eat at 8 PM and my bowl was the last one the lady scooped out; when it was brought out, the porridge was almost cold, truly no longer hot, thick and even had a layer of burnt porridge from the bottom of the pot, but I still understood because at that hour the restaurant was already cleaning up. I had been eating the porridge for a while when I noticed a small white object with one black end. I looked very, very carefully and searched to see if there were more in the bowl, and there were 5 or 6, nearly a dozen like that. I paused for a long time to look closely, and I dare say 90% sure it was maggots. If it were shredded duck meat, it couldn't be like that—small, curved, with one black-brown end. At that time, there was another group of people in the restaurant, but I waited until they left before asking the lady because I didn't want to cause a scene. But when I called the lady to report it and asked if this meat was not fresh, she denied it and said it wasn't maggots, but I am certain it was maggots. No shredded duck meat looks like that; it's very characteristic of maggots—white, very distinct shape, clearly separate, not like a piece of shredded duck meat, no meat fibers, and even had a BLACK HEAD. I didn't want to argue with the lady much because she insisted on denying it. I was very upset, stopped eating, stood up, paid, and left. Truly very disappointed and will never return. Because it happened suddenly, I didn't take a photo, and I didn't think about posting this review to take a picture. I just wanted the lady to resolve it amicably, but she flatly refused. I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN, NOT EVEN ONCE!! Oh, and also, because I was sure it was maggots, I told the lady to look carefully, but she denied it and glanced over it. I said, 'I am sure it's maggots, please look carefully because I dare not eat anymore,' and she said, 'If you don't want to eat, then don't 🙂' without resolving it for me. So I stood up, paid, and left immediately, not wanting to argue with her.

Eatery near FPT city. A familiar lunch destination for office workers. One portion of porridge, one portion of salad, one portion of duck is amazing.

Standard, no need to adjust

Delicious food, reasonable price. The dipping sauce is very tasty and appealing.

I added either savory chicken porridge or duck porridge because it was so delicious, and they only charged me 10,000 dong extra. It's savory and well-seasoned, perfect for my taste that likes strong flavors. It cured my craving for Korean food that I had during my ten days in Vietnam.

Delicious duck salad. Delicious porridge, excellent dipping sauce. Prices are beyond excellent. Will definitely come back when I have the chance.
