Co Van's Fermented Fish Noodle is a simple garden eatery specializing in rich fermented fish noodle with many toppings: pork, nem, spring rolls, raw vegetables. The shop wins diners over with low prices, clean space, and friendly, enthusiastic owners. However, sometimes the food quality and service are inconsistent.

The eatery is clean and cool. The vermicelli is very delicious and flavorful. The owners are very lovely and give mango for dessert.
Ms. Van is very lovely. The vermicelli is delicious. The fish sauce is rich in flavor. For those who prefer salty food, there is a jar of fish sauce on the table for you to add more. I found this eatery on Google and followed the reviews of local guides. Thank you all for giving me a worthwhile experience ❤️
No responsibility
The fermented fish noodle soup here is one of my favorite spots when visiting Da Nang. The bowl is packed full, with tons of toppings yet still cheap. I ordered the full bowl with boiled pork, roasted pork, fermented pork rolls, pork cake, fresh herbs, peanuts, and fried shallots sprinkled on top, very fragrant. The fermented fish sauce is rich, the fish sauce aroma is strong but not overpowering, just right to eat without being too salty or harsh on the throat. Even those not used to fermented fish sauce can easily eat it because the sauce is very skillfully mixed. The noodles are soft, not mushy, combined with fresh crunchy herbs so it's not cloying. Each bite clearly brings out the Central region flavor—salty, sweet, and spicy blend together, very stimulating to the taste buds. After finishing this bowl, you'll be full for the whole morning. The shop space is simple but clean, comfortable to sit and eat. Service is quick, order and it arrives in about 3–5 minutes. The owners are cheerful and friendly. I went during peak hours, it was a bit crowded but turnover is fast, no long wait. If you want to find a delicious, cheap, and quality Da Nang specialty, you should try the fermented fish noodle soup here. Eat it once and you'll remember it forever!
Shredded young jackfruit is not tasty and lacks the nutty flavor of jackfruit at all. The dish's flavor is not as expected. It seems there is little fish sauce even though I added more from the bottle on the table. The entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive (family-run eatery).
I came in first but someone cut in line to order one grilled clay pot to take away, then Shopee arrived to pick up two grilled clay pots, and the restaurant asked if I could eat boiled meat because it's sold out :))))
I have eaten here many times. The food is delicious, the prices are suitable for students, the owners are enthusiastic and lovely, the atmosphere is fresh and cool. I will support them for a long time.
Delicious fermented fish noodle soup
The food is very delicious.. The roasted pork is very sweet ... Reasonable price The owner is very accommodating to customers, I asked for fish sauce on the side, vegetables on the side so my child can take as much as they want... She did exactly that The garden eatery is opened right next to the house, many locals come to eat, I sat for a while and dozens of Shopee Food delivery guys came to pick up orders.
Delicious, clean, and gentle
Good fish sauce, clean vegetables, lots of toppings, the owner is lovely, 10 points 🫶
Going late, the roasted meat might run out
Can't stand not eating for a week
The unassuming Cô Vân noodle shop is actually just a few small tables and stools arranged in her house's yard. Despite its humble appearance, the shop is a favourite among locals for its signature Bún Mắm Thịt Nướng Lu (Noodles with Fermented Fish Sauce and Water Vessel-Roasted Crispy Pork Belly). The pork belly is marinated in a special blend of spices and herbs before being roasted to perfection in a water vessel. The result is tender, flavourful meat with a crispy, golden skin and a smoky aroma. The fermented fish sauce is a key ingredient in the dish, and it can be quite salty. However, the addition of fresh vegetables and herbs helps to balance out the flavours. Cô Vân, the owner of the shop, is always happy to accommodate guests who have any special requests for the dish. She is also generous with her portions, and she always encourages customers to take more sauce or chilli if they need it.
The food is very delicious, crispy roasted pork fresh. Reasonable price 40k for a special bowl, the fish sauce is a bit salty but there are a lot of vegetables so it's fine. There is self-service hot tea. The seating is spacious and airy.
