As someone who has a (bad) habit of exclusively going to food places with good food reviews, i was skeptical of making a de-tour to this establishment given the low ratings. However, i was glad i made the trip, and personally did not experience the various pain points that were echo-ed in the other reviews. Going at 5pm, the limited seating was nearly packed and food was served quickly. The 4-5 staff that i interacted served with efficiency and a smile on their face. The overall cleanliness of the place was not worse than the other mom and pop local shops that we visited. Yes the area was run down and litter were scattered on the floor, however the dining table was quickly cleaned by a staff upon our arrival and the grease papers were available for us to use to grab the food. We ordered 4 different types of rice paper rolls: beef, pate, runny eggs and a meat and hard boil egg mix. We enjoyed the varying consistency of the rice paper with the different fillings, with each variation bringing on its own unique charms. Spring onions . among other ingredients helped enhanced the flavour of the roll. Our personal favourites would be 1) Pate and 2) runny eggs. As a fellow south east asian , the sambal like chilli was spicy enough and gave a different flavour to the meal. In a nutshell, we have never tasted anything quite like this and really enjoyed it. If you are still on the fence on giving it a go, we would say its well worth the time.
