Came here for dinner at this local Vietnamese spot in Hai Chau. Honestly one of the most satisfying Vietnamese meals I’ve had in Da Nang. We ordered a variety of dishes — beef salad, stir-fried eel, stir-fried wild boar, and fried rice — and everything was excellent. Great flavors and well cooked. Will definitely be back.

The restaurant used to serve very delicious food and the service was okay, but I don't understand why recently the portions have become smaller while the prices have increased.

A decent local restaurant in this neighborhood. Good value for money and tasty. It's a shame there's no seafood, but still satisfied.

This eatery has been around for quite a long time with the people in Da Nang. The prices here are affordable and the dishes are served very quickly, folks. My favorite dishes are fried pork knuckle with fish sauce and fried red tilapia with fish sauce. You should try the spicy hot snail dish, it's quite good.

Staff not enthusiastic, food is bad

Ordered 6 dishes, 2 were spoiled. The quail eggs were spoiled, the pig tongue had a foul smell and was not fresh.

I arrived in Da Nang on a night flight and went to a place I found on Google. It's a bit tough for Korean tastes. But the owner is kind. However, I gave up on everything for the taste and atmosphere.

The food is generous in portion, the flavor is decent. But they are extremely irresponsible about hygiene issues. When we found that a plate of food had a 'hygiene problem', we called the manager over, and he said they wouldn't charge for that plate, without even a single apology. I'll let everyone see what that hygiene issue is, and it was even deep-fried 😃. Honestly, we had eaten half the plate before we discovered it. My friend took this photo from the opposite side, and only when zooming in later did we see where it was initially, so we had to eat it before finding out 🥲

About 1-2 years ago, passing by, it was still crowded. Yesterday, it was empty, so I went in to try it out. After eating, I knew the reason. I ordered 'Sour-cooked yellowtail trevally' and couldn't eat it. The fish was off, smelling of freezer burn. I called the staff to ask, and the staff brought a spirit lamp and said, 'Cook it a bit more, sir.' I said, 'This fish is off, clearly smells of freezer burn; cooking it won't help. You try it, or take it to the kitchen to see.' The staff didn't know what to say and walked in silently. When paying, they still charged for the whole pot of fish. No explanation or reasonable solution was offered. After I stood up, I saw the staff clearing the table and dumping both the fish and vermicelli (probably the cleaning staff also knew the fish was off and didn't eat it. Usually, at restaurants and eateries, if there's leftover, staff keep it to eat at the end of their shift). In short: I advise everyone not to visit to have such disappointing experiences (the photo shows two sides of the fish, inedible).

There are 2 dishes worth trying: snakehead fish with mango fish sauce and fried pork knuckle with fish sauce, steamed squid is also okay, the rest like fried noodles and rice are just average. Note that the fish does not come with side dishes, you have to order extra.

Fried snakehead fish with fish sauce is very delicious. The service is not very fast (probably because it's crowded). It depends on the day; if you encounter a group that drinks a lot, be prepared. I only eat and don't drink, so I buy takeaway to be safe 🤣
