I eat at this rice eatery every other day. The portions are large, the prices are very affordable, buying on Grab has many discount codes, and picking up at the shop doesn't require a long wait even though the shop is always busy. Overall, it's great from the food to the service.

Today, my husband bought me a box of chicken thigh rice to take home. By the third spoonful, I discovered a clump of chicken feathers in it. It was truly disgusting.

Found another extremely satisfying chicken rice eatery. 😄 Baemin brought me to this place; I kept scrolling and couldn't find any decent spot, so I picked it randomly, who would have thought... it's reliable. =))) Actually, what impressed me about this place wasn't the rice or the price, but the seaweed soup. I swear I've never eaten at a chicken rice shop that sells seaweed soup as good as this one. The soup is extremely sweet when combined with minced beef, the seaweed is crispy, chewy, and cut into small pieces rather than the usual vertical strips or sheets, but it's extremely delicious and satisfying. Note: if you order, remember to add a note to reduce pepper; the time I ordered, the shop accidentally added a bit too much pepper. Because the soup was so good, I ordered for two consecutive days: one day shredded chicken, the other day stir-fried beef. The shredded chicken was okay, with plenty of Vietnamese coriander, onion, a bit of sourness, but it didn't seem to absorb the flavor well. Eaten with cucumber and pickles to reduce greasiness, the rice was fried with butter so it was fragrant, but a bit puffy. I didn't really like the stir-fried beef; it had cabbage, carrots, and wood ear mushrooms. I don't like that kind of thick, sticky sauce; it's kind of mediocre and hard to be flavorful. The beef was a bit tough, sliced thinly and moderately, not too little. The shop includes bird's eye chili; I'm addicted to chili, so that time I added 6 fruits and ate them all, it was so satisfying. 🤣 The price here is reasonable compared to the market; the shredded chicken combo + seaweed soup is only 30k but enough to fill you up, while the stir-fried beef is 30k without soup, adding one portion of seaweed soup for 7k is still very reasonable. The biggest plus point for me to like this place and give it 5 stars is the seaweed soup; among a sea of rice shops, having one with its own unique touch like this is truly deserving. 💪 Will continue to support.
