Excellent spot with great drinks and solid food!Umi Beer Garden is in a highly convenient location. I visited early on a weekday evening right near opening. Even though it was raining heavily, the staff handled everything perfectly. I chose to sit in the outdoor area, which felt amazing with a cool, post-rain breeze. The Food & Drinks:House Blond Beer: 5/5 – Very tasty with a nice hoppy note.Fried Squid: 5/5 – Hot, crispy, and perfect with the sweet chili sauce.Steak Set Meal: 4/5 – Beef was delicious and nicely spiced, but the fries were just okay. Rice or noodles would be a better side.Grilled Oyster: 4/5 – Tasty cheese sauce, almost like a rich Velveeta style.Overall a great experience despite the bad weather. I'd definitely recommend a visit!

Employees sit and tap on their phones all day, the manager manages employees like a mess. A blonde employee, while talking to customers, was texting and tapping on her phone; after taking the order, she didn't actually place it, then went inside to continue tapping on her phone. Some at the Nui Thanh branch also have this situation.

I am very impressed with Umi Beer Garden — an ideal place to enjoy Japanese food and beer in Da Nang. The restaurant space is spacious, airy, and decorated in a modern Japanese style, creating a relaxing feeling when gathering with friends or going with family.

The food and decor are true to Japanese flavors. The first Japanese restaurant that gave me a feeling of wanting to come back. Omurice is a perfect 10, the hot pot is just right, moderately spicy. The staff takes care of you attentively, super lovely.

The food is okay, the staff is okay. But the staff overcharged the beer bill because the guest was a bit drunk, will not come back.

The food is at an average level, the salad was bland, and the grilled fish dish recommended by the staff wasn't good—it was too salty. The restaurant serves dishes quickly and has invested in decor. The staff are enthusiastic but need more training; they were using their phones while serving customers and chose standing positions that weren't considerate. They stood right in front of the table where customers were eating, staring while using their phones. The perfume used by the staff should be reduced; many staff members came to greet at the same time, crowding around, and everyone had a strong perfume smell.
