Amazing food definitely worth a try! I’m usually quite picky about rabbit meat because I dislike its distinctive odor, but this place prepares it exceptionally well. The meat is incredibly fresh, with a natural sweetness and a firm texture that makes for a truly satisfying eating experience.

One of Da Nang's worst restaurants, hands down! Located up some ganky mountain-carved stairs, the food's a health hazard – raw chicken with blood and nasty leaves that'll leave you gagging. Sitting's on the floor, and the fans are sketchy – broken or no covers, major injury risk. Steer clear!

I found this unique spot on TikTok. I think you come here for the experience first and foremost. It's not for the faint-hearted that's for sure. Tra Son Quan is situated away from the main areas one would go to while in Danang, but it is on the way to Lady Buddha. Once you arrive, you have to walk up a long flight of stone stairs before you arrive at the seating area. The seating area is a tent with a table and a mat on top. There are no chairs, you just sit on the mat and the food will be served in the middle. My son did all the ordering. This place serves rural Vietnamese cuisine which means you'll be getting a bunch of meats that aren't typically served in regular restaurants. We got rabbit served 4 ways: Stir fried rabbit with herbs. This was very flavorful and peppery, especially the sauce. If you've never had rabbit meat before, it's a little chewy so it might not be agreeable for all palates. Rabbit stew: again very flavorful. This is a soy sauced based item and arrives at the table still bubbling and served in a claypot. Grilled/roasted rabbit: very tasty. It had a hint of curry flavor but not spicy. The accompanying condiment of chili, garlic, salt and lime is very spicy, but if you can handle the heat, it adds so much flavor to the rabbit. Rabbit blood: this is the specialty of the restaurant. Several in our party tried this (I did not). Congealed rabbits' blood is served topped with a variety of fresh herbs and peanuts. Interesting and unique. Roasted/grilled chicken: this was fantastic. A must order! So flavorful. They give you condiments such as cucumbers and mango slices. Sesame crackers here are delicious! Best I've ever had. They were perfectly toasted. They serve the meal with warm toasted baguettes which is perfect to dip in the sauces. Cha Lua (sausage wrapped in banana leaves) are also available. They were good. A true farm to table experience as the animals were out back. Definitely not for the squeamish. We were the only foreigners there. The place was packed on a weekday lunch! It is a truly authentic experience if you are adventurous, or have adventurous friends to go with you. We spent about 2.5 hours there and had a ball!

The owner is too rude to customers. Before I could even order, they were already disrespectful. In 30-40 years in Da Nang, I've never encountered a place with such an attitude. I arrived and left immediately.

Okay, delicious and flavorful, unique space, squatting on the stall, you eat and drink, okay.

Rabbit special. Duck special... It feels similar to Korea's chicken one-pot. They make two to three dishes from one animal.

The chicken meat was fresh and tasty, but it was chopped in such a way that there were bone fragments. We asked for it not to be spicy, but the chicken was sprinkled with a little pepper, which was spicy for a child. Karaoke is playing loudly; if you like it, you'll enjoy it, but you won't be able to sit and talk because the music is loud. One small grilled chicken, as shown in the photo, cost 320.

There is no menu with listed prices. They wait until the food is brought out, then ask you to order more or pay at the stall (this is not an eco-tourism area). At that point, the staff immediately shows a bad attitude toward customers, without clearly explaining from the beginning. The food is average, the seating and restroom are extremely dirty. Don't listen to TikTokers. Extremely bad experience.

The food is okay but the service is extremely slow and the attitude is very bad. We waited for the food for over an hour, and they only brought it out when we asked for the bill. The price is quite expensive compared to the service.

Grilled chicken is delicious. But customers should consider the braised eel with banana, which is too fatty and has too strong turmeric flavor.

I find the atmosphere here is good. I've brought my foreign friends here to eat many times, and they all say the food is delicious—there's really no argument about the food. However, the choices aren't very diverse. Once, a monkey here stole a loaf of bread from me, and I kept coming back many times to find that monkey to get it back 😂😂😂

If you want to try the specialty cuisine of the mountains and forests right in Da Nang, Tra Son Quan is a place worth visiting with its quite distinctive and cozy style. The eatery is famous for rabbit, chicken, Muscovy duck dishes, and dishes made from forest meat, which are positively evaluated by many local diners for their flavor and richness in each serving. Regarding the food, the rabbit meat is prepared in various ways (grilled, stir-fried, braised...) with rich spices, tender and fragrant meat. In addition, the steamed chicken with onions and Muscovy duck dishes are also praised by many for their firm, naturally sweet meat and quite fast service even when the eatery is crowded. The prices are reasonable compared to the food quality and the scale of the eatery, suitable for both lunch or dinner with a group of friends. A small note is that during peak hours, the eatery can be quite crowded, so you should arrive early or call to book in advance if going in a large group. Overall, this is an interesting culinary experience with a strong local character, worth experiencing once when visiting Da Nang.

Regular customers but treated like strangers. Overcharged terribly. 1 rabbit and 1 crate of Larue beer cost 930k. 1 rabbit with 4 dishes was enough for 6 people before. But this meal for 3 people had nothing.
