When choosing this restaurant we simply read the reviews, to then understand there are no enough words to describe this excellence! Everything was delightful. Starting from some great charcuterie, following an amazing worth mentioning slow cooked beef wagyu (omg) and the indulging desserts, plus some gourgeous and well curated chef surprise in the middle. Cherry on top is the service worth of a starred restaurant. Owned by a couple with big dreams and even bigger talents. Truly well done!

The Culinary Gem in Da Nang

This was really a lovely surprise. Not that we were specifically craving for French food, but it was a very nice surprise all the way. A fusion French cuisine with Vietnamese touch, in a really nice atmosphere and excellent service. This is top cuisine and all our compliments to Chef Olivier and his professional team. And we were also surprised by the excellent pairing of the wines.

This was my second time at Le Comptoir, and it was just as impressive as the first visit. The food was absolutely excellent from start to finish. We ordered the set menu, and every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. My favorite dish was the scallops tartare with canh chua — such a creative and perfectly balanced combination. It was fresh, refined, and truly memorable. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the owner was warm and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more special. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back again!

I just wanted to share my fantastic experience at Le Comptoir. Their grand menu signature was amazing, with every dish thoughtfully crafted. The staff were efficient and always ready to assist. I even picked up a sandwich from their sister shop next door for my lunch the next day! If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend this place.

A decent French restaurant in Da Nang situated amidst a residential community. The food is great, matching its Michelin’s recommendation. The services are excellent and our host Brian is very friendly and helpful. He served us very professionally and introduced the menu in detail and refill our bread very quickly. I will surely visit again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I chose the 6-course Chef’s Tasting Menu with wine pairing, and it was beautifully balanced and perfectly paced without needing additional courses. Standout dishes included a refined beef tartare tartlet, miso-brushed black cod with truffle, and an exceptional seven-day dry-aged duck breast with pumpkin and duck-stuffed Chinese cabbage. The wine pairings were thoughtful and elevated each course, and the service was genuinely attentive—my glass was refilled mid-course without needing to ask. A confident, elegant Chef’s Table experience that delivers on flavour, technique, and hospitality.

First time for Michelin French dinner. We ordered the set dinner and 3 glasses of wine pairing. The staff was professional and introduced all dishes and wines in detail. I particularly like the duck breast. However, the music was too loud and difficult for us to chat

Now that we are on holliday, my dear wife and I always like to make time to seek out local eateries, either through connections or word mouth to mouth. After more than 35+ years in the hospitality industry, we enjoy both local and fine dining; it doesn't matter to us as long as it is done according to the rules of the art. Made a reservation in advanced, we are given a very warm welcome and shown to our table. The restaurant is not too big, which makes the atmosphere particularly cozy. The comfort at the table is excellent and gives you, as a guest, a feeling of privacy. We've decided to go for the extensive version of the menu, “Les Fantasies du Chef,” with matching wines. Both the Lady of the house and the very friendly Junior Manager Lien and her colleagues make you feel very much at home, no stiffiness, no arrogance, just exceptional hospitality. After two delicious and particularly tasty appetizers, the starters followed, starting with a fresh scallop tartare (with one of the most balanced cold consommés I have ever tasted), a delicious terrine of goose liver with truffle & date compote, and a brioche with fish sauce (surprisingly paring and delicious!!!). a special taste experience of black cod with artichoke cream and a sauce that I would love to take home a whole bucket of, a refreshing Normandy granitté full of surprises that is prepared and served at the table. (an experience you have to see and taste for yourself), followed by the main courses: duck breast with Bigarade sauce and a delicious garnish, with the duck leg wrapped in cabbage every bit as good as the fillet (finally a chef who has mastered his sauces, believe me, they are very rare), a delicious combination of Wagyu with truffle and caviar for true connoisseurs, a cheese selection that is perfectly matured and balanced, and for dessert, one of the most refreshing desserts we have ever eaten, with yogurt, red fruits, and a succulent basil sorbet. We concluded the feast with coffee and homemade mignardises. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail: the welcome, the service, the menu, from the appetizers to the homemade assortment of bread and butter, the decor, and the cozy background music, etc. I rarely write such extensive review after a restaurant visit, but when everything is just right and your taste buds are treated to a home run from start to finish, hell yes, they deserve it! If we are in the area, we will definitely be back, and we would recommend it to anyone staying in Da Nang and beyond.

Today was my birthday and they thought of every detail (loved the polaroid picture and the birthday wishes with the friandises). The service was great and the staff was very nice! The wine and food was excellent! Can recommend Le Comptoir to anyone who wants a great, unforgettable night out with great French food! 🙏🏼❤️

We had an amazing meal sitting at the counter seats watching Chef Ben in action! The meal was a work of art - complex flavors and textures that were both creative and satisfying. Still dreaming about our meal: fois gras macaron amuse bouche, scallop starter w cucumber, rabbit ravioli, black bass with truffle shavings! Wine pairings were all spot on. Service efficient and responsive as well as warm and welcoming. Worth the price tag! Highly recommend booking a table here when you travel to Danang.

Me and my girlfriend visited this establishment on the 5:th of february 2026 for the last dinner of our Danang trip. We found the restaurant via the MICHELIN Guide, and after our visit we absolutely understand why Le Comptoir was mentioned there. The restaurant's somewhat hidden location gives it an intimate feel and interior as well as exterior, was friendly, inviting and beautiful. We were a little bit early but that was not an issue at all, it just took a minute or so before we were escorted to our table. We went with the "Le Grand Menu" with the Black Angus Tenderloin. Also with wine pairing for the food as well as additional wine pairing for the cheese board that was not included in the original wine pairing. The service was excellent, and each course was presented with the level of care expected at a restaurant of this caliber. It was also refreshing to see that the head-chef (Ben / Benjamin) took the time to come out to the dining room and make sure guests were enjoying their meals. We enjoyed the conversations with him very much. Every dish was exquisite and we have really no complaints at all. From our perspective, given the prices we are used to at fine-dining restaurants, a visit to Le Comptoir offers outstanding value.

The food here was absolutely delicious and full of surprises, with flavors that exceeded our expectations. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the service is top-notch. Our server tonight, Anh, was exceptionally welcoming, polite, with a warm smile and detailed explanations of the dishes that made our evening truly enjoyable. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and the restaurant surprised us with a special gesture that touched us deeply, turning it into a memorable night.

We had wine pairing set on our dinner. The food was exceptional considering French fusion with Vietnamese cuisine but the wine pairing was a little bit disappointed as we didn't found some of them were matching enough & the main red w main course was kinda out, or dead, in its taste. So... kinda disappointed. Other than that, all is good. Friendly staff, floor manager & pleasant to meet the founder & his wife, the sommelier.
