I very rarely leave reviews on restaurants but unfortunately I feel the need to on this occasion as it was one of the worst meals I’ve been served ever, let alone in Vietnam. We got a cheese garlic bread starter which was bland, dry and disappointing. The Quang noddles were also very bland but just about passable. The real issue came with the tofu/vegetable noodle dish we ordered which first was missing the tofu, broccoli and tomato (3 of about the 6 ingredients in the dish) and then when the order was taken away and fixed it still came back missing the broccoli and tomato. We decided to just eat it but then realised the noodles were chewy and tasted terrible so eventually just gave up on the thing. The blow of a bad lunch was made worse by the fact this place charges relatively steep prices by the standards we have seen in Vietnam, definitely not value for money.

Bad food quality and not value for money. Pineapple fried rice comes without any meat or nuts. Also, the pineapple seems to have used many time. Gross!It's a terrible restaurant.

Hemos tenido que esperar una hora para que nos sirvieran los platos y luego éramos 4 personas y han servido los platos con un intervalo de 20 minutos cada uno. Había gente que había terminado de comer y el resto no habían ni empezado después de hora. La comida nada del otro mundo.

Quán deco quá đẹp, nằm ngay trung tâm Phố Cổ, gần chùa Cầu. Giá hợp lý, đồ ăn quá ngon. Sẽ còn quay lại nhiều lần

Nhà hàng nằm không xa Cầu Chùa nên đi bộ đến khá thoải mái. Không gian rộng rãi, sạch sẽ. Toilet sạch. Mình ăn buffer nên các món ăn đa dạng, đầy đủ các món ngon của xứ Quảng.

The buffet is very good. The space is very spacious, the restaurant has many delicious dishes. Mostly serving tour groups, groups of customers are many.

The place has a very Hoi An vibe, everything is done very precisely. There are many options for everyone. However, the food is not very tasty, especially for our group; it's also Quang dishes but not as good as street food.

The restaurant is very bad. The food is bland and cold. The staff's attitude is very rude and disrespectful to customers. The restaurant needs to change, otherwise it will lose the image of a Hoi An specialty restaurant. About 15 tables, almost all the food was left uneaten.

If I had to choose a place in Hoi An that is delicious, has a good vibe, and is worth returning to, I would vote for Viettown Hoi An without a second thought. The first impression is the space: spacious, clean, decor is meticulous but not pretentious. Sitting down feels comfortable right away, the kind of place where you can eat without noise, chat freely, suitable for family outings, business meetings, or gatherings with friends. In the evening, the lighting gives off a very Hoi An feel, both modern and preserving traditional charm. The food is a big plus. The menu is diverse and easy to choose from, with flavors suitable for Vietnamese but still refined. Dishes come out quickly, presented neatly, and you can tell they are made with care, not just cooked for the sake of it. Seafood is fresh, hot dishes are served hot, seasoning is just right, and not greasy. Going in a large group and ordering many dishes to share is perfect. The staff at Viettown surprised me quite a bit. Service is polite and enthusiastic, they come right away when called, give clear recommendations, don't rush customers, and are not unpleasant. You feel respected, very comfortable – this is not something you find everywhere in tourist areas. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location, not overcharging tourists. Overall: good food, nice space, good service. If I have a chance to return to Hoi An, I will definitely choose Viettown again. A place worth experiencing and worth a 5-star rating.
