I went to this restaurant three years ago at dinnertime and it was great, so imagine my surprise when we went here for lunch and the tacos were not great. We tried 6 different tacos on the menu and only two (tacos al pastor and carnitas) were good. There was a real lack of depth in flavour and the chicken was dry and stringy. The guacamole was nice but the tortilla chips were quite oily. The fried fish was mostly batter and we found ourselves having to add lots of chile sauce, pickles, and jalapeños to have any flavour at all in the tacos. It may be because we went at lunchtime and they were maybe serving leftovers from the day before. Either way, maybe stick to dinnertime if you do go and avoid going at lunchtime. Each single tacos did come with two tortillas and enough filling to fill them both so that part was good at least.

We only stopped here for the novelty of getting tacos, hopeful but not expectant for it to be really good as far as authentic Mexican food goes. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and even the drinks. Lots of small menu items that you wouldn’t even expect to see in a Vietnamese/mexican restaurant such as agua fresca, agua de Jamaica, homemade totopos, taquitos and many more. The quality of the ingredients used speaks for itself when you try the food which has been prepared expertly and very true to its culture. Prices are also very very reasonable for the portion sizes you receive and the service is incredibly friendly and also very professional. Could not recommend to come here any more even if you aren’t a fan of Mexican cuisine let this be a decider for you and I’m sure it will change your mind.

DELCIOUSSSS!! I’ve had plenty of Mexican food and this might be up there for some top Mexican I’ve had. Definitely in Vietnam, #1. I highly recommend.

We were walking around Old Hanoi when we came across this restaurant. As Mexicans, finding a Mexican restaurant so far from home is always intriguing, so we decided to take a look at the menu. To our surprise, we found dishes and taco variations that aren’t common that far from Mexico, so we had to give it a try. What a delightful surprise! The food was delicious and a very close representation of the flavors from home. Our highlights were definitely the tortillas — they are tremendous! And the Baja fish taco was absolutely spot on. The atmosphere was another highlight: it felt like a small, pleasantly isolated Latin corner in the middle of Hanoi, warm and welcoming, with great music that truly completed the experience. It was a wonderful find during our trip to Vietnam!

Great Mexican food in Vietnam👌

I've lived in Vietnam for 15 years both as a vegan and as a someone who grew up eating amazing Mexican food in southern California. Masa Taqueria has by far the best vegan Mexican cuisine to be found in Vietnam. They have so many different options, all perfect. Half the menu is vegan or can be made so. Also, they have one vegan gelato, the Jamaican one! So glad they are here in Hoi An.

Never thought I would have the best Mexican food ever in Vietnam but I did. The food was sooo good even my Mexican friend loved it. We tried all the tacos and they all were amazing with high quality. This is a must try restaurant

Walking around Hoian Old quarter and my buddies and I were looking for foor and came across this taco spot. Being latin, i was a little worried about tacos here. Well it did not disappoint. The young lady serving us ( Hao i think ) was amazing. kept up with our humour , recommended food and drinks and it was on point. Guac and Pico was fantastic, carnitas, carne asada and taquitos were on fire. The 3 of us had to order more. The margaritas were on point. we were lucky and got the single table outside so we can people watch and enjoy the night. Thank you Masa Taqueria for the food and specially the service, you guys were amazing. Next time i come to hoian i will be stopping by with more friends.

The food was really delicious here. We had Micheladas and Tamarind Margaritas which were great! The tacos (all the meat ones) were well cooked and flavourful. We tried the prickly pear taco which was a nice surprise. The Vietnamese chocolate ice cream was the best thing I have ever tasted. 10/10 recommend

Maybe not the most obvious choice when exploring Vietnamese culinary culture but it was such a good one. Vegan and veggie options. Everything was gorgeous. Vegan taquitos were amazing. Guac was delightful. Salsa was piquant. If I lived here, I might eat here every day.

Good vegetarian and vegan tacos with fresh made corn tortillas. Very authentic, we were surprised to find this place in Vietnam. There's a sister bar above that also has fantastic cocktails and vibes- not very touristy.

Absolutely love this restaurant. We were after a slight change after a long holiday in Vietnam so headed here. The prawn taco was immaculate and the Tabasco beer cocktail (I know!) was amazing

A Flavor Explosion in Every Bite Masa Taqueria is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, fresh Mexican flavors. While you order at the counter before being seated, the limited menu is a testament to their commitment to quality – everything's made to order and super fresh. I opted for the pork tacos with grilled pineapple. The subtle spice was nicely balanced by the sweet and tangy pineapple, complementing the tender pork. Mindy chose the carne asada tacos and asked for them to be not spicy, which seemed to be simply sans sauce rather than a unique flavor profile, lacking the savory depth of mine. The taco portion is admittedly small (two petite soft tacos), so if you're famished, be sure to order a few. And don't miss the refreshing cucumber juice – it's the perfect antidote to any lingering spicy heat. In short, Masa Taqueria delivers an explosion of flavor in every bite (well at least mine, sorry Mindy :( Just be prepared to order a bit more if you're looking for a hearty meal.

Great food, fresh ingredients, recommend you try this place out when in Hoi an ☺️ There are tables upstairs and downstairs, staff are really friendly, and reasonably priced.

Lovely fresh mexican food. We had several small dishes all of which were really nice. After eating you must try the really nice and cosy cocktail bar above tbe restaurnet called Mezcal Cocteleria. It is a bit of a secret bar as you would not know it there. Access via the narrow dark stairs on the right of restaurent that look as if they go nowhere special, but once up and through the door it is special
