The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly and welcoming
Not too bad. However, we walked around 4pm and no one was around. We probably woke up the Chefs 😀.
Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The noodles were hard and clearly undercooked, making them unpleasant to eat. The pizza was extremely dry and lacked both flavor and freshness. Overall, the meal was not enjoyable and did not meet reasonable expectations for quality.
Maybe for locals tasty but for foreigners very tasteless. Crispy noodles was just uncooked instant noodles. Very disappointed 😞
Staff was very kind and helpful! The pork was very very tasty but the plate of vegetables was tasteless unfortunately.

Usually, when I visit Hoi An, I tend to frequent casual street-side eateries; however, this time I needed a refined, quiet venue to host guests, and Spice Viet turned out to be the perfect choice. I was immediately impressed upon entering by the incredibly elegant atmosphere, featuring warm wood tones and soft, golden lighting. The table settings and tableware were impeccably arranged, meeting 5-star hotel standards. The menu focuses on Vietnamese cuisine and Hoi An specialties, all elevated to a higher level. The dishes are artfully presented on rustic ceramic ware, and the flavors are delicate, allowing the freshness of the ingredients to shine through. I was particularly impressed by the service staff—poised, attentive, and always available the moment a guest needed something. Prices range from 100,000 to 400,000 VND. Our large group ordered a variety of dishes—from appetizers to mains—to share; when splitting the bill, the cost was truly reasonable for such a high-end dining experience and a wonderful, private ambiance.

My husband and I recently visited Spice Viet for dinner whilst staying in Hoi An, after finding the restaurant in the Michelin guide. The food and service were great, very friendly and welcoming however the restaurant felt more suited to large coach or tour groups, rather than smaller intimate groups.

They will add a 30% service charge without telling you. Very unclear, also looked like they were adding service charges on top of taxes too. They were not willing to lower. Food was ok and very expensive to other places. 🙃

The restaurant serves dishes quickly, the staff is friendly and gives thorough advice to customers - I really love the garlic butter shrimp and the salad here.
