Phin Coffee Restaurant

The coffee class was so awesome, and it was one of the highlight of our Vietnam trip. Hi was so knowledgeable about coffee! We learnt a lot about Arabica and Robusta beans, and Hi even shared how to make her favourite coffee with us. I couldn't recommend this more. Thank you Phin Coffee!

We discovered Phin Coffee quite a few years back and it has been our go to cafe for our daily 'flat white/cappuccino' on our regular visits. While the business has obviously outgrown the original, traditional and 'charming' building; the new modern cafe still offers the same high quality barrister coffee, super friendly and efficient service, and always wanting to please. A few days back we met the lady owner and we got talking coffee. I mentioned, jokingly, that back home I always make my wife's morning coffee with the coffee art to suit a left hander. The next day when our coffees arrived they were excited to see our joy when they told us they had made my wife a coffee for a left hander. How sweet! Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this coffee experience! I learned so much more about coffee, from the process to the different ways of preparing and enjoying it. The experience was interesting, enjoyable, and very informative. A special thank you to Hi for sharing her knowledge and explaining everything so patiently and clearly. I truly appreciate her time and effort in making the experience memorable.

Etwas versteckt aber ein Besuch ist es definitiv Wert. Service super. Nur einen Kaffee to Go bestellt aber dennoch kurze Geschichte zum Kaffee erzählt bekommen. Peanut Coffee betrunken.erst etwas skeptisch aber super lecker. Mal etwas anderes zum "normalen" Kaffee. Schmeckt nach Erdnuss aber nicht zu süß. Klare Empfehlung.

We had a very good time learning how to prepare different kinds of vietnameese coffe. Hi was so Kind and patient with us until we ended up knowing the basic skills. Hopefully we will apply them and show to our Friends too. Breakfast was awesome btw.

We had a great time with Hi learning to make phin coffee, egg coffee and salt coffee and enjoyed learning some of the history coffee in vietnam. Our daughter also enjoyed the class and was able to make chocolate variants. Great activity for the whole family!

The coffee experience deserves special mention. In a country where coffee is such an important part of daily culture, Phin Hoi An still manages to stand out. Each cup is aromatic, smooth, and full of character. It is not just coffee served in a beautiful setting—it is coffee made with understanding, patience, and attention to detail. Whether you come for a quiet morning moment, an afternoon break from exploring Hoi An, or an evening conversation with friends, it feels like exactly the right place to pause. The service is equally exceptional. The team is attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They are present when needed, but never intrusive. Their hospitality feels natural rather than scripted, creating an experience that is both polished and personal. You feel valued as a guest, not rushed through as another table. Phin Hoi An also captures something important about the city itself. Hoi An is known for its lantern-lit streets, history, craftsmanship, and quiet charm. This place reflects that spirit beautifully. It offers more than food and drinks; it offers a mood, a memory, and a sense of connection to the destination. For travellers, it is an essential stop. For locals, it is a place to be proud of. For anyone who appreciates quality, thoughtful hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and memorable flavours, Phin Hoi An should be high on the list. Hoi An has many wonderful places to discover, but Phin Hoi An is not one to miss. Skipping it would mean missing one of the city’s most charming and satisfying experiences. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, enjoy the moment, and promise yourself that you will return. Missing Phin Hoi An would not simply be missing a café or restaurant—it would be missing a beautiful part of Hoi An itself.

HI was a wonderful tutor and we really enjoyed our coffee lesson where we learned to make Phin, Salted and Coconut coffee. And drank it! Delicious and interesting. Hi is a professional and passionate teacher.

Like the secret garden of Hoi An, make your way down an alley to find yourself at the lush green entrance of Phin Coffee Restaurant. We arrived just before 10am and there were minimal patrons which was fantastic as we were then able to retreat into this quiet corner of peace. Staff - extremely sweet upon arrival, and very accommodating with service. Atmosphere - inviting, comfortable, well-spaced Service - A+ seated quickly, smoothies came out in a flash, followed closely by our food Taste - Amazazing, super delicious. I fell in love with the pesto cao laù Chocolate banana smoothie was made with proper cacao power, my favourite, and wasn’t too sweet (fabulous, in my opinion) Amazing presentation, so clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would love to try every item on the menu, and could bet that I wouldn’t be disappointed once.

A beautiful, poetic little courtyard! They don't have a massive variety of coffees, and you can't customize your own bean ratio—they only offer a pre-set blend of 30% Robusta and 70% Arabica. That said, I trust it’s already a well-balanced combination. Their traditional drip coffee is not available for takeout; you are required to sit down and savor it slowly. The staff here are incredibly nice, and if I had more time, I would have loved to just sit there and thoroughly enjoy a cup. It’s a bit tricky to find as it's tucked away in a small alley, but the road signs are clear enough if you keep an eye out.

This is a very pleasant, cozy place with friendly staff, and amazing food and drinks. It is tucked away in a quiet alley, making it peaceful, relaxed, and a truly nice place to spend time. It’s one of our favorite spots in Hoi An, and we stopped by almost every day for either lunch or dinner.

Cà phê dừa và bánh cà rốt rất ngon, không quá ngọt, quán có điều hoà trên tầng hai và ban công view đẹp, menu có các món đặc sản Hội An như bánh bao bánh vạc, món phở vịt khá lạ mình sẽ quay lại thử lần tới!

Nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner chez Phin ce matin et nous nous sommes régalés avec l' Avocado Toast and Eggs et le müesli à la mangue et à la banane. Très bons egg coffee également. Le tout pour presque 500 M dongs.

We had driven past this café several times, and it always looked so inviting. Today, we finally stopped by for breakfast. We ordered the avocado toast with egg, and it was delicious. The cold brew was excellent as well, and the breakfast portion was generous enough to leave us feeling full. We’ll happily come back!

Wir waren während unserer Zeit in Hoi An öfter im Phin Coffee und haben's uns gutgehen lassen. Besonders beliebt waren bei uns die Eisvarianten vom Coconut Cofé und Peanut Butter Cofé sowie der Banana Chocolate Smoothie. Die Angestellten sind mega freundlich und das Ambiente einfach wunderschön. Kommt unbedingt vorbei und überzeugt euch selbst. Von uns gibt es für's Phin Cofé eine klare Empfehlung

골목 안에 숨어 있어서 일부러 찾아오지 않는다면 찾기 쉽지 않은 곳임에도 사람들이 제법 있었습니다. 마당에 태양을 가리기 위한 차양막을 설치해서 외부 좌석이 압도적으로 많고 내부 좌석은 적은데, 태양이 뜨거운 낮시간에는 손님들이 앉은 자리로 선풍기를 강하게 틀어줘도 데워진 공기로 인해 더위가 사라지지는 않았습니다. 땅콩버터커피를 마셨는데 커피는 아주 시원하고 맛있었지만 더위가 오래 쉬어가기 어렵게 만들어서 아쉬웠습니다. 차양막에 덩굴식물을 심어서 식물로 햇빛을 좀 더 낮춰줄 필요가 있어 보였습니다.

커피 클래스를 바리스타 ‘히(Hi)’와 함께 했어요. 핀커피, 솔트커피, 에그커피를 만들고 아라비카와 로부스타를 비교체험했어요. 커피 클래스가 즐거웠고 시간가는 줄 모르고 금방 지나갔어요. 좋은 체험 감사합니다!

Una clase maravillosa para aprender los secretos del café vietnamita. El paso a paso es muy claro, los ingredientes son de primera y Hi hace que la sesión sea de lo más amena y dinámica. El café de huevo que preparamos quedó espectacular. Una actividad imprescindible si estás en la ciudad y una oprtunidad estupenda para poder llevarte a casa una parte de la cultura de este maravilloso país. ¡Cinco estrellas!
