Reaching Out Teahouse

It was a very relaxing time. The staff were also very kind.

A truly captivating experience At first I was a little surprised because I didn't know the teahouse is operated by deaf and mute staff. I just visited the tea house caused tired after so much walking. After trying to talk without getting a voice response, I understood. Then, it became a very peaceful and meaningful moment. We communicated through writing and smiles, and it felt even more sincere than words. The tea was very delicious and I really enjoyed this tea moment in such a wonderful, tranquil environment. The old house, the quiet courtyard, the handmade cups - everything is so beautiful. Highly recommended if you want a quiet break from the busy streets of Hoi An.

Lovely place to enjoy a simple drink. Nice and shady, in a old town period home. The experience was positively very unique, a change from the hustle outside in the main streets. It also serves a good cause. Do visit the boutique in the back where one can get hand made products, including bronze phins for reasonable prices. This is a place to slowly drink a coffee as the sun meanders through the sky. Fully recommended.

If you are a tea lover like me in the country of coffee, this place is for you. Small but special selection of teas with little sweet treats. I tried Organic red lantern herbal tea and it was very soothing, also coconut and black sesame cookies. Which are thin crunchy bites (5 pieces per serving). A peaceful escape for chaotic and loud streets. Little garden is cool even in afternoon heat. Cant go without mentioning sweet and smiley staff that run the place.

A truly unique experience. The place is run by people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and the entire concept is incredibly well thought out, with a strong social and meaningful purpose behind it. The service is exceptional, the welcome is very warm, and every detail contributes to creating a completely different atmosphere. You genuinely feel transported to Vietnam. The Vietnamese teas are excellent, with several high-quality varieties, and everything is presented with great care. The place itself is beautiful, and the whole concept is consistent and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. A wonderful discovery, both for the quality of the experience and for the values behind the project. Everything was perfect. We recommend it 100%!

Das Teehaus ist eine absolute Wohltat nach den lauten Gassen von Hoi an! Nur flüstern erlaubt und man kommuniziert mit Zettel und Stift und kleinen Holztafeln mit dem Personal. Super leckerer Kaffee und das Tee Tasting ist auch wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung. Tolles Services und tolle Fotos inklusive 😊

Randomly walked into this tea house. The atmosphere was such a relief from the heat, we mainly communicated through the wooden text boards. The staff were super helpful. I had the ever nicest chilled green tea.

They offer a variety of local tea and coffee blends. I’d recommend getting a tasting set and some snacks to pair with it. A great place to enjoy some quiet time after a busy walk through the old town.

Such a cute and unique tea house! 🍵✨ The atmosphere was really something special. The staff communicate through gestures and sign language, which made the whole experience feel very different and memorable in the best way 🤍 The sesame waffle was absolutely fantastic! 🧇😍 It was freshly made right in front of us, which made it even better. Definitely worth stopping by when exploring Hoi An 🏮

Being deaf myself, it was neat to visit this spot that is run by like-minded folks. They are remarkably welcoming, warm, and attentive. The local coffee is top-tier, and the space itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained that makes it a truly inspiring and peaceful place to take a break from the hectic traffic right outside.

It's beautiful and the peanut butter coffee I got was delicious. It's a bit expensive relative to other cafes in the area. The way everyone is silent was a little strange at first but really soothing. It's probably even better if you sit further in, away from the noisy street

Amazing quiet atmosphere and delicious coconut cookies

Inclusivity is a beautiful thing, and so are the lovely teas, coffees, cookies and other treats on offer. What a lovely experience to sit in the window and enjoy a moment of calm and silence.

One of my favourite little discoveries in Hoi An. You step inside from the noise and chaos of the street and suddenly everything feels completely different quiet, calm and almost frozen in time. The whole place has so much charm, from the furniture and chairs to the beautiful teapots and presentation. There’s a great selection of teas, with small cookies to pair with them, and the whole experience feels incredibly peaceful. It’s one of those places where you unexpectedly end up staying much longer than planned. A little hidden escape from busy Hoi A that I would absolutely recommend.

A dreamy cute cafe with delicious coffee as well as a lovely selection of cookies. I suggest to taste the selection instead of trying only one or two.

Good service, it includes complimentary water and drinks which is free- unusual for busy street in Hoi An, and nice small treat.

Shopping in Hoi An can get quite loud, hot and overwhelming. Finding a quiet place to sit down, have a coffee or tea with a small biscuit without a single word or disturbance was exactly what we needed! Loved it!

Immanquable ! Excellent service, excellents produits (thé et biscuits). Produits à la vente à des prix classiques, auxquels on ne s'attend pas forcément dans ce cadre raffiné et en plein centre touristique d'Hoi An. Artisanat magnifique, fait sur place, une raison supplémentaire de ne pas rater ce lieu...enchanteur.

Une merveilleuse découverte au cœur de Hanoï ! Cette maison de thé / bar à café est un véritable havre de paix. Proposer un concept tenu par une équipe de personnes sourdes et muettes offre une expérience humaine et sensorielle à la fois originale, très intéressante et particulièrement réussie. La présentation et le service sont soignés et complets. Même situé en plein centre-ville, l'endroit permet de se couper totalement de l'agitation de la rue pour passer un moment très agréable et hors du temps. Nous avons adoré et nous recommandons vivement !
