Bánh Mỳ Thu

The best banh mi, personally I prefer a lighter version unlike banh mi queen where there was too much topping. The sauce was so balanced and simple as well (I had some places where they loaded on the sauce). Also if you can take spice add the hot paste it added so much more depth in flavors! The grandma even had an oven in her push cart so the bun was toasted till crispy and crunchy. There’s no menu but I had a lovely local help me order the pork sausage (20k). I came at around 9:30am, not sure but I saw some trays already empty so I think some ingredients have already ran out.

Went out looking for banh mi at 7am in the morning. I knew of Mrs Thu’s from Google map and was happy to see them open so early in the morning. The banh mi was packed and super delicious. It is still 20k for one. The lady spoked wonderful english and we had a short chat before I left. It was a wonderful send off before we left for the airport.
